New Castle
The so-called New Castle was finally opened to the public in 2008 and now many of the rooms shine with either restored or new glory. The castle houses a permanent exhibition on the life and work Prince Hermann von Pückler-Muskau, and the tower offers spectacular views of the park.

Tourism Centre Muskauer Park
Would you like some help planning your trip here? Or are you thinking about coming on holiday? The Tourism Centre in the west wing of the New Castle has all the information you need.
Weddings
Muskauer Park provides an ideal backdrop for your wedding. The Orangery, the New Castle, and the Old Castle are approved to hold civil marriages. The Standesamt in Bad Muskau is the designated register office for marriages in Muskauer Park.
Bike hire
Cycling is expressly allowed in Muskauer Park, and is an excellent way of discovering the extensive landscaped gardens. Bikes are available for hire in the estate farm buildings.
Park tours
The Muskauer Park Tourism Centre regularly conducts tours through the landscaped gardens - simply join in! If you are coming as part of a large group, book a tour in advance especially for your group.

Carriage rides
Pückler recommended his visitors take a carriage ride to see Muskauer Park. Why not take his advice?
Boat trips
Experience Muskauer Park from the water.
Holiday apartments
There are four holiday apartments in the former estate farm awaiting your visit. Wake up to the sound of the birds singing in Muskauer Park and experience the park completely at peace. Stay overnight in a World Heritage Site.

Pottery
Muskau stoneware was a highly coveted local product for centuries, and you can get an impression of this tradition today in Gordon Gran's pottery in the former farm estate buildings. His typically dark blue and vivid yellow-brown pieces are handmade and highly prized throughout the region.
